Dr. Noreen C. Overeem

Dr. Overeem graduated from Michigan State University College of Veterinary Medicine in 1974. She has been the driving force behind Rainbow Pet Hospital since 1982 when she took over as Dr. Brugger retired. She is a member of the American Heartworm Society (AHS), Kansas City Veterinary Medical Association (KCVMA). She is a Life Time member of the Kansas Veterinary Medical Association (KVMA), and the American Veterinary Medical Association (AVMA).

Dr. Overeem was born and raised in College Point, New York. She knew at the age of 8, always finding sick or injured animals and nursing them back to health, that she wanted to become a Veterinarian. She has had quite the menagerie over the years. Dogs, cats, birds, iguanas, and a few fish here and there. And then there was Julius the Donkey who just loved her Karmann Ghia car. Her true love was her Wolves. She now has two cats, Lola and Harlan.
